Improving Treatment for Blood Cancers and the Next-Generation of Cancer Therapies

A conversation with Sangya Agarwal about her research in cancer treatment at the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford, and her journey in science.

I am excited to share another video conversation. For some context, Sangya Agarwal worked in Dr Carl H. June’s laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania to improve the efficacy of CAR T cell therapy to maximize the success of this personalized cancer treatment. She then worked at the laboratory of Dr. Howard Chang at Stanford, combining cancer immunotherapy and engineered cell therapy with high-throughput functional genomics and epigenetic editing.
